Outperform Property Investment Management is led by Michael Holloway, who has decades of the senior UK and NZ property investment experience.

 

A Master of Science, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Licensed Real Estate Agent (REAA 2008), Michael is the former President of the Property Council of New Zealand’s Auckland Region, Member of the MSCI Property Index Advisory Board and member of the Selwyn Foundation Property Committee.

 

Most recently Michael was GM Property Investment at Kiwi Property. There, he was involved in transactions totalling $685 million, management of a $900 million office portfolio including the development of an $80 million office building at Sylvia Park, and developing the business case for Build to Rent investment.

 

• The office portfolio 5 years annualised total return to June 2021 was 11.47% p.a., relative to the MSCI benchmark of 9.94%, an outperformance of 1.36 percentage points.

• Achieved highest-ever WALT for the commercial portfolio of >10 years

 

Prior to Kiwi Property Michael led Trust Management to win RICS Fund Management Team of the Year 2014, with the management of Melanesian Mission Trust Board and St John’s College Trust Board the top two ranked Property Funds in NZ by MSCI.

 

Before that Michael worked for GE Real Estate in the UK and NZ as an asset manager and country leader respectively.

Michael was part of the award-winning Imperial Tobacco Pension Fund Property Team in 1999/2000 in the UK.
